The Garberville Redway Area Chamber of Commerce is reaching out to the community asking for volunteers and donations to put on the Annual Fireworks Display at Benbow Lake. Dee Way of the Chamber explains, “We need to raise another $10,000 for the fireworks and associated costs. We’d like to continue this tradition, but without community support its future is uncertain.”

Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the Chamber office at 782 Redwood Dr. in Garberville. Benbow Lake State Recreation Area will be open and charging $8 per vehicle or the community is welcome to view the fireworks from outside the park from locations throughout the valley. No booths or food will be offered so please pack your own. Please do not bring any private fireworks. The spectacular fireworks show will start at 10pm.
