With a week and a half left until the June 5 primary, the Federal Elections Commission has published the final round of campaign finance disclosure statements. There’s a whole lot of info in these things, but here’s some preliminary takeaways:
- Jared Huffman has raised more than $1 million to date and is sitting on a fat bankroll to take to the general election.
- Stacey Lawson continues to ramp up fundraising, beating all comers in this cycle, but she’s spending it even more quickly — so quickly, in fact, that she has loaned her own campaign $100,000.
- Susan Adams’ fundraising efforts have stalled out hard and her bank account is dry. She has no general election war chest at all.
- Norman Solomon came close to keeping pace with the fundraising leaders in this cycle. He raised 75 percent of what Huffman raised and 61 percent of what Lawson raised (subtracting Lawson’s loan to herself).
- Republican Dan Roberts raised a grand total of $2,550 in the last six weeks but has spent over $100,000 — most of it his own money. (UPDATE: All told, he has loaned his campaign $160,000.)
