Sgt. Steve Watson of the Eureka Police Dept. confirmed that his agency has been notified that a suspect in this weekend’s armed robbery of a business in Crescent City may be in Humboldt Co.

The suspect led law enforcement on a incredible chase which involved multiple stolen vehicles, a carjacking, a Yurok tribal police officer struck with a fleeing vehicle, the suspect being wounded by police, but, in the end, eluding them and quite possibly disappearing into Humboldt Co. The Times Standard is naming the suspect as Zachary Scott age 33.  They have a photo of him in their much more detailed story here.
