Oh, you have got to be kidding us. Alternative band Cake, who have a sold out show scheduled tonight at the Van Duzer Theatre are getting a taste of what the rest of us already know: Flying into Humboldt ain’t easy.

Well, here we go. Will the band who first burst onto the national scene with 1996’s hit “The Distance” go the distance? Are they going for speed? One thing is clear: If they have it their way, they will not leave Humboldt music fans alone — ALL ALONE! — in their time of need.
