Even as LoCO’s own Andrew Goff prepares to Vine his way across the country this coming week, The Atlantic‘s James Fallows and his wife, author Deborah Fallows, have announced their own road-trip-by-plane project: “American Futures“:

…an attempt to tell parts of America’s story that are under-represented in most news accounts, and where – in our experience – much of the adaptation to America’s next stage of economic, demographic, and social history is taking place…”

The accomplished, travel-loving couple seeks readers’ advice on which small towns to visit. Granted, The Atlantic’s track record with regards to Humboldt coverage is far from stellar, but perhaps this would be an opportunity to do things right?
