From the Eureka Police Department:

On 8-7-13 at about 11:49 am, an officer of the Eureka Police Department located a stolen vehicle (a maroon 1988 Toyota Camry) traveling north bound on Myrtle Avenue at about the 700 block.

Officers responded to assist and a felony enforcement stop was conducted at Cooper’s gulch. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken into custody without incident.

The driver was identified as Chris Allen Beam (18 years old of Eureka, Ca). He was booked on charges of possession of stolen property and driving while unlicensed. Beam is being held on $30,000 bail.

The vehicle was towed from the scene for safekeeping
