PG&E reports that over a thousand customers are without juice in Arcata. The outage seems to be centered around the Greenview area. Coastal Grove Charter School — located at the site of the old Bloomfield Elementary — was down for about half an hour, but power has since been restored.

The utility estimates that power will be fully restored by 11:30 a.m.
