In response to a question from LoCO, the Humboldt CO. Sheriff’s Dept. has confirmed that the Sheriffs Office and Humboldt County Drug Task Force are executing search warrants for marijuana in the Rancho Sequoia area.

A formal news release will be out “in the near future.”

UPDATED 10 A.M.: According to Lt. Steve Knight, the Public Information Officer of the Humboldt Co. Sheriff’s Office, “There is a significant amount of marijuana that is very obvious… .” He says that there is no question of the properties being medical gardens.  “These are absolute commercial grows.”
