Fortuna Police Dept. Press Release:

On October 10, 2013 at about 1:00 PM, Fortuna police officers responded to a report of a woman in the backyard of a vacant residence on the 1300 block of Brown St.

Officers arrived and responded to the backyard of the residence. Officers found a large shed in the backyard and made entry into the shed. Officers found two subjects inside the shed identified as Rocky Crowl, age 37 of Fortuna and Anna Crowl, age 41 of Fortuna.

Both subjects were found to be on probation and were detained. A search of Anna Crowl found items on her person that was later confirmed as stolen from the shed. Rocky Crowl was found in possession of a glass pipe.

Both subjects were arrested for Burglary and violation of probation and transported to the Humboldt County Jail.
