The frost might be on the pumpkin tonight says the US National Weather Service on their Facebook page. “Low temperatures,” they say, “will range from near 40 F to the low 30s, with a few locations falling into the upper 20s. The areas with the best chance of frost will be in the valleys of southern Humboldt, interior Mendocino, and Trinity counties.”
So pull in those fuchsias and other sensitive summertime plants. Make sure pets have warmth and shelter. And, don’t forget to drive carefully if you have to be on the roads.
