A group of Humboldt Co. men have plead guilty to being part of a marijuana distribution network between here and Montana, writes Thadeus Greenson of the Times Standard in an excellent piece today.  He’s put together a solid story outlining the cases against the men.  Ending on what may be an ominous note for more Humboldt Co. folks, Greenson says,

As the five Humboldt County men await sentencing, they may be working with federal authorities. Their plea agreements provide for a departure from normal sentencing guidelines if they offer “substantial assistance” to ongoing federal investigations and indicate the men have agreed to cooperate.
