On today’s Coastal Currents, Congressman Jared Huffman discussed his proposed drought water bill. Among other things, it would crack down on water diversions for marijuana cultivation on “trespass grows.”
Huffman was also quite frank about his view of other drought bills currently in consideration, using the word “terrible” repeatedly. He expressed concern for the delta smelt and those who would sidestep the Endangered Species Act.
The congressman also told KHUM that his internet browsing habits are “boring.” Also on this week’s episode, Mad River Alliance‘s Dave Feral called in to plug this weekend’s “Growing Green in 2014” workshop and Jen Savage recapped Saturday’s cleanup efforts.
