The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has revealed that the deceased man found in a creek near Heather Lane in Arcata was 55-year-old Randy Dale Markin. Outpost readers will recall that Markin was reported missing in late October.
At this point, the coroner’s office wouldn’t speculate as to the cause of death. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
