Arcata Police Department press release:

On 12/08/2014 at about 11:30pm, an officer with the Arcata Police Department, with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol, responded to a residence in the 1400 block of School Rd in McKinleyville on the report that a wanted suspect, Lance Lorenzen (age 30), was at that residence.

Earlier in the day, the Arcata Police Department had publicized their “Most Wanted” poster on Facebook.  Within hours, numerous concerned citizens called the department to report the whereabouts of Lorenzen.

Lorenzen was taken into custody without incident on warrants of arrest for H&S 11359 - Possession for sales (two warrants) and H&S 11357(a) - Possession of Concentrated Cannabis.  The bail amount for the violations was $100,000.

The Arcata Police Department would like to thank the citizens of this community for their assistance in the capturing of this fugitive.
