UPDATE 11:35 a.m.:Brittany Kesterson of the Eureka Police Department gave us more information,
On 07/18/14 at about 1:16 a.m. we received a call reporting a male had been stabbed in front of Winco. Officers responded and found the male victim with an abdominal stab wound near the Winco exit doors. Based on evidence at the scene it appears the stabbing may have occurred just west of the Winco entrance doors. The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. There is no suspect description at this time. This incident is currently under investigation.

Original post: According to scanner traffic, at approximately 12:20 early this morning, a man was reportedly stabbed outside of Winco in the vicinity of West Harris. Three males were last seen running westbound from the scene. Eureka Police Department responded.
The man was transported to St Joseph Hospital by ambulance. Scanner traffic called for his ambulance to be “Code Three” which is used for life threatening injuries.
