For fun, we black-lined the Eureka city limits in this map of the June 3 election results in the race for Fourth District Supervisor. Because it allows us to ponder: What would have happened if Kerrigan had run for Mayor of Eureka, as he originally intended?
Inconclusive, probably, but you do see that Kerrigan performed strong in the heart of the city. Bass-land is the outskirts, more or less: Henderson Center, Myrtletown, the Samoa Peninsula…
