Arcata Police Department press release: 

On Wednesday June 18th 2014 at approximately 1:40pm, the Arcata Police Department served a marijuana search warrant in the 2200 block of Baldwin Street. at a residence located near Arcata Elementary School.

Officers located a commercial indoor marijuana cultivation operation and evidence of sales. A total of 501 marijuana plants and five pounds of processed marijuana bud was seized.

The residents, 33 year old Daryl Adam Durham and 28 year old Elysia Brooke Durham, were not home during the service of the search warrant.  Arrest warrants are being sought for both residents for charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sales.
