Scanner traffic and readers are reporting a vegetation fire near Rio Dell/Scotia around 7 p.m. Scanner traffic appears to be calling it the Ash Fire. There is at least one engine and two crews. A plane is dropping retardant.  A helicopter is on its way. Crews appear to be getting the blaze under control.
