According to an Arcata Police Department spokesperson, a report was received at 1:25 a.m. Saturday of a vehicle colliding with a woman and a fence in the alley behind Toby and Jack’s off the Plaza in Arcata. 

The victim received minor injuries and the suspect vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle was later found and towed. Today, according to the spokesperson, a woman, Sunniva Oseberg-Finney, came in seeking the vehicle and wondering why it had been towed.

She was arrested for failure to stop at the scene of an injury traffic collision.

The motive is under investigation.
