A 23-year-old woman is recovering from serious stab wounds at St. Joseph Hospital this morning, confirmed a Eureka Police Department spokesperson a few minutes ago.
At around 3:10 a.m., a caller reported finding the woman unconscious and bleeding in the parking lot of the Adorni Center, the EPD’s Brittany Powell told the Outpost. The wounds the woman had received were consistent with attempted murder.
Powell said the victim appears to have known her assailant. Powell said that the EPD is not releasing any additional information at this time.
