A reader, Michael Desiderio, uploaded this video of what he said was a homeless man attempting to start a fire by the BevMo! building about 8 a.m. 

Whether the man was trying to stay warm or trying to start the building on fire is unclear. Possibly it was time to roast marshmallows.

We’ll attempt to get more information but Eureka Police Department is dealing with a homicide this morning.
