Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On 10-27-2014, at approximately 11:50 p.m. the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed robbery. The 22 year old male victim reported he and his friend were just held up at gunpoint at their residence in the 4100 block of D Street, Eureka. The victim told the deputies they had arranged to sell a pound of marijuana to two males for $1,200.00 dollars. The males came to their home, examined the marijuana and told the victims they needed to obtain cash to pay them. The two suspects left the residence for five minutes and returned with a revolver which they brandished at the two male victims. They ordered the victims on the floor and the suspect with the handgun watched over the victims, while the other suspect ransacked the residence. The suspects then fled with the pound of marijuana in a white Honda Accord.
The victims told the investigating deputies both suspects were white males with tattoos on their arms and various neck tattoos. One of the suspects had the tattoo “Kimberly“ on his neck. Both suspects were over 6’ tall, medium build and had brown hair. Both victims were not injured.
