You may have missed them while you were driving to work through your personal Humboldt fog tunnel, but a fair number of local folk woke up super early to stand in a long, excited line this morning. Why? Well, it’s iPhone 6 launch day, of course!

LoCO super reader Terra Jo Sandoval sent in the photo above taken a little after 7 a.m. in front of Eureka’s Verizon Store on Broadway.

“This is just the beginning of the line,” Sandoval noted an hour before the store opened. 

Good luck, gadget geeks. Enjoy your day of transferring contacts and assigning perfect ringtones to your friends. Oh, but be a bit more careful opening your iPhone 6 box than the guy who was first in line at the Apple Store in Perth. Cringe at his live TV-immortalized “Oops” below.
