At 11:59 a.m. today, the USGS’s earthquake gizmos recorded a 4.8M earthquake 163km W of Ferndale in ye olde Pacific Ocean. Guess that’s far enough away to not matter. No tsunami warning has been issued. 

Also, before the LoCO commentariat chimes in, yes, today is a slow news day.
