A reader writes: “There a swat team on s and Henderson this morning did something happen.”

The Outpost’s Ryan Burns trucked down to the scene, where he discovered not a SWAT team, but a single Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office truck and several law enforcement officers at a home on the 2700 block of S Street, where they appear to have detained two people. Those people were initially placed in handcuffs, then released.

One of the officers — an agent with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force — told Burns that they are serving a search warrant at the location as a follow-up to last week’s big bust on Truesdale Avenue. (See here and here.)

The agent said that in all likelihood, no more information on today’s search warrant would be released.
