A blue station crashed into the guard rail near the Samoa Boulevard exit of U.S. Highway 101, temporarily blocking the left lane and slowing southbound traffic around noon.

According to Highway Patrol, the driver over corrected and spun out when the driver of a blue truck - reporting to be responsible for the crash - nearly collided with the station wagon.

A CHP officer arrived on scene and pushed the station wagon off the road with his vehicle. A firetruck was dispatched to the scene, but the driver did not receive medical aid.
