There’s going to be boss rain today and tonight, if the National Weather Service forecast is correct. Indeed, a great deal of it is falling from the sky as we speak. And though as of right now our major rivers are not expected to bust bank in this storm, the National Weather Service has issued a localized flood advisory aimed largely at Del Norte and Humboldt’s northern territories.

   DEL NORTE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA...
 
 * UNTIL 1115 AM PST
 
 * AT 807 AM PST...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN THAT WILL CAUSE
   URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO ONE
   INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN WITH ANOTHER INCH OR TWO POSSIBLE.
   ROCK AND MUD SLIDES WILL OCCUR IN STEEP TERRAIN.

 ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
