About an hour ago, a driver running from the cops in Arcata sped down Highway 101 at up to 100 miles per hour before crossing the meridian at Bayside Cutoff and continuing to flee down the wrong side of the road.
Police discontinued their pursuit when they made a positive identification of the subject.
