Tons of messages coming into LoCO HQ about a mass blackout east of Fortuna.

The PG&E outage map is currently showing two separate but likely linked outages along 36, both of which started at 7:19 a.m. — 1,126 customers out around Hydesville, and 279 near Bridgeville. No word about cause. The CHP isn’t reporting any car accidents along the route.

PG&E is estimating that power will be back on at 12:15 p.m., but in our experience their estimates tend to be very, very rough.
