###

Very hairy-looking traffic collision on 299 this morning: According to CHP dispatch, ice on the road a few miles west of Willow Creek caused a big rig to smash into an embankment, blocking three lanes of traffic. A Ford F250 went off the side in the same accident.

No injuries are reported.

Traffic was completely blocked for 20 minutes or so, but is opened to one-way controlled at the moment. LoCO Facebook friend Jason Avelar sends in the following image of the scene at present.
