The scaffolding that for months has hugged the south side of Eureka’s old, formerly crumbly Carson Block Building came down yesterday and today to reveal the progress on its lengthy restoration.

That looks nice, yeah?

‘Twas back in April of 2014 that it was announced that the Old Town building would receive a $5.3 million facelift. LoCO readers can refresh their noggins with our previous coverage here. Work on the building will continue at least through 2015.
