Odds are that your news feeds contained some mention of United Airlines’ rough morning. After some “automation issues” — to use the Federal Aviation Administration’s terminology — the airline was forced to ground its entire worldwide fleet, a move that affected nearly 5,000 flights.
Locally, it seems, we are in the clear. Local aviation booster club Fly Humboldt links to FlightStats on their Facebook page and notes a) that all of ACV’s morning flights came in on time and b) all today’s scheduled flights are a go.
