Cal Fire is assisting HIA firefighters out of Hoopa on the Weitchpec-area wildfire we reported on earlier today, now being called the Deehorn Incident. Details are still scant, but Allie Hostler with the Two Rivers Tribune sent in the photos below along with the following quote: “That’s as close as I could get, but the road is open to 2-way traffic and the air support seems to have slowed the fire down significantly.”
