Multiple LoCO readers report that the safety corridor has screeched to a halt due to a multi-car accident in the northbound lane of Highway 101 on the Safety Corridor just over the Eureka Slough bridge. Witnesses at the scene tell us that officers are asking for the assistance of nearby motorists in order to push a car out of the roadway. Doesn’t seem to serious. Will likely be clear soon.

Another reportedly less serious accident occurred less than a mile away near Mid-City Motor World in which a single white car was seen in the center median.
