As something of a followup to yesterday’s LoCO photoessay on what life is like for Eureka’s bayside homeless, today we present a sort of “Palco Marsh/Devil’s Playground Street View,” a bicyclist-eye look at the encampments that line the Eureka’s west-facing waterfront properties. Yesterday, Friend of the Outpost Chris Barry strapped on his helmet cam and went for a ride down the greenbelt. He started at the foot of Del Norte and made it nearly to Truesdale Street when he got a flat tire. He was kind enough to send the resulting video our way, which y’all can watch below.
