UPDATE, 9:19 a.m.: An ambulance is headed to St. Joseph Hospital with two firefighters on board. The victim’s status is unclear at this moment, but they are headed to the hospital with speed — lights and sirens.

UPDATE, 9:13 a.m.: Units on Woodley Island report that the victim has been recovered from the water. The Coast Guard is on scene.

Multiple Humboldt Bay Fire teams have been deployed to two spots around the bay this morning — Woodley Island and the foot of F Street — on report of a body found in the water.
Swimmers have been deployed and the Coast Guard has been notified.
