Beloved husband, son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather to a family that will miss his unique spirit.
Martin felt a deep connection to nature, especially the wild areas of Southern Humboldt County. He was dedicated to preserving our rivers as well as conservation of energy and sustainable design. He had a love of travel, especially to Central and South America. His last few years included many trips with his wife, Sandi.
Celebration of life to be held Wednesday, April 20 at 3 PM by his family at Merryman’s on Moonstone Beach. The intent of the event is to celebrate Martin’s life and his memories so please bring stories or reminders of Martin to share with others. There will be a drum circle on the beach starting twenty minutes after 4 PM in his honor. All who knew Martin or who would like to participate in the drum circle are welcome. Casual attire is encouraged.
If you would like to make a donation in Martin’s name, we ask that you donate to the Northcoast Environmental Center (NEC) or the Environmental Protection Information Center (EPIC).
