One lane of Eureka’s Seventh Street is blocked at the moment, after a two-car collision at the intersection of I Street diverted a car up against a building that houses an orthodontist’s office.

The building does not appear to have suffered any structural damage, but — as seen in photos below — the impact left a brick planter box with a substantial cavity.

No one was injured. Emergency personnel are on scene cleaning up fluid spills, and officers from the Eureka Police Department’s traffic division are investigating.
