The Six Rivers National Forest Service reports that a nasty looking slip out has closed Salmon River Road about a mile west of Butler Flat.

The slip occurred in Siskiyou County just east of the Humboldt border, making it difficult to gather more information.

After several phone calls to multiple government agencies, the best we were able to gather is that the incident is being handled by Siskiyou County, and that no one is able to provide more information at the moment.
