Eureka Police Department press release:
On 02/02/16 at about 1:37 p.m., officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to a business on the 700 block of 4th Street after employees reported that a male was inside speaking incoherently and brandishing two 12” knives at employees.
Once on scene, officers located the male and deployed a less-lethal bean bag shotgun. The male dropped the knives and was taken into custody without further incident. The less-lethal shotgun was only displayed. Antonio Mims, 33 of Livermore, was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for brandishing.
