This morning the Humboldt County Department of Public Works sent out an updated list of known trouble roads around the county. Check it below to find out if you can go anywhere today.
- Hookton Road at Eel River Drive open.
- Old Arcata at Jacoby still flooded.
- Mad River Road m.p. 2.8 still flooded.
- Slide activity Dyerville Loop Road m.p. 14.75. Cleaned and reopened
- Freshwater Road now open.
- East Branch Road (Garberville) slipping out and barely passable. Estimated to be repaired by 11:00 a.m. (1/18)
- Old Arcata Road at Ole Hanson open.
- Redwood Drive between Evergreen and Bear Canyon. (Bluff area south of Redway) will remain closed for most of the day.
- Ettersburg Road open and clear.
- Fickle Hill Road open, tree removed at m.p. 10.
- Hatchery Road closed at West End intersection, flooding.
- Sprowel Creek tree removed and passable.
- McCann Ferry shut down, possible start-up on Tuesday, January 19.
- Alderpoint Road down to one lane at m.p. 32.4 near Charles Bar.
- Redwood Drive slide activity between Dean Creek and Redway, road now open and passable. (Bluff area north of Redway.)
- Holmes Flat at Chad Creek flooded.
- End of West Coast Road flooded, Southern Humboldt
- Fieldbrook Road flooded across near Park Lane.
- Hatchery Road & West End Road flooded entirely across.
- Howard Heights Road closed.
- Crannell Road closed at Dows Prairie due to flooding.
- Glendale Drive closed; Stagecoach Road closed.
- Mitchell Road now open (Weitchpec).
