Donald Trump’s campaign has tried on numerous oof-inducing explanations today after accusations that parts of Melania Trump’s speech delivered on opening night of the Republican National Convention yesterday were ganked from a speech Michelle Obama gave in a similar context back in 2008. Michelle’s parents taught her the value of hard work and, hey, Melania’s did too, maybe! Mocking memes and video mashups have clogged up Facebook newsfeeds across the land. What fun.  

And you know who just could not resist a hashtag pile-on? That would be our Congressman Jared Huffman who tweeted out this sick-but-hacky burn.
