Eureka and Crescent City both had record amounts of rainfall yesterday.

The U.S. National Weather Service Eureka reports on its Facebook page that Eureka received .30 inches of rain yesterday, beating the previous record of 0.22 inches set in 1964.

Rainfall is expected to continue throughout Humboldt and Del Norte Counties during the morning hours, and my pick up again later tonight.
