From the Eureka Police Department:

On June 2, 2016, at about 3:52 p.m., officers with the Eureka Police Department responded to the VA Clinic on the 900 block of West Harris for the report of a male threatening to shoot employees.

Officers arrived on scene and detained the male without incident. The male was identified as Jessie Tyrell Schager, 31 of Carlotta. During a consent search, officers located two loaded .45 caliber handguns inside Schager’s vehicle. The firearms were seized as evidence.

Schager was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for criminal threats.
