Tidy up the scrap heaps in your front yards, Humboldt! It’s pickin’ time!

Outpost superfans will recall a month ago when we told y’all that the junk expert stars of the History Channel’s fine American Pickers programme were soon-to-be Humboldt-bound. You, we noted at the time, had the opportunity to be an antique-y celebrity. Hopefully you followed up on that.

Well, time she passes. Pickin’ season is upon us. Today, picker Mike Wolfe took to the webs to reveal that he is, in fact, among us — the Antique Archeology van is currently tearing through the Avenue of the Giants (see above). The Pickers are here. Are you ready?

In the off chance that someone runs into the AP crew, would you please pass on that LoCO colleague and American Pickers enthusiast DJ Carole Ann would very, very, very (very) much like to have these people on her KWPT The Point radio show?
