Humboldt County Sheriff’s office release: 

At 8:57 a.m. this morning (3/22/16) deputies attempted to serve a Humboldt County Superior Court Immediate Move Out Order on a 54 year old male at his residence on the 2300 block of McKinleyville Ave. The subject barricaded himself in the residence. Neighbors were advised to shelter in place. Additional deputies and CHP arrived on scene.

At about 10:56 a.m. the subject was safely detained. He accepted the eviction and criminal charges will not be sought.
