Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office press release:
On Thursday, October 20, 2016 at about 1:27 p.m. Humboldt County Deputies responded to a residence on Hwy 101 in Orick for a report of a robbery that had just occurred. When Deputies arrived on scene they spoke with a female victim. The female victim told Deputies she was asleep in her bedroom when she was awoken by her dog barking. The victim exited her bedroom and noticed two adult males ransacking her home. The male suspects fled upon seeing the victim. As one of the suspects fled, he hit the victim with a blue duffle bag, causing minor injuries.
The suspects stole a laptop in a red laptop case, and tattoo equipment.
Suspect #1 is described as a white male adult, between 20-29 years old, thin build, with sores on his face wearing a “very dirty” brown and grey long sleeve shirt, grey “workout pants,” and dirty white tennis shoes.
Suspect #2 is described as a white male adult, between 20-29 years old, thin build and wearing a brown hat.
