Multiple engines are working to extinguish a vegetation fire that was reported at Table Bluff roughly an hour ago.
According to scanner traffic, the fire was about 10 acres in size and being driven by 7-to-15 mph winds when firefighters arrived on scene.
The Loleta Volunteer Fire department was originally dispatched to the scene, but additional engines with 4-wheel drive were needed to reach the fire.
Firefighters made contact with dispatch around 2 p.m. to report they were making their way down the beach toward the fire.
