Time to get your base tan on point, Humboldt.

The National Weather Service of Eureka reports that the North Coast will be blasted with sunshine for at least the next week.

Coastal areas are expected to see highs between the uppers 50s and mid 60s, while inland areas may see temperatures in the 80s.

So wipe that winter crust from your eyes and get to enjoying all the spring and summer activities Humboldt has to offer.

Here are just a few: swimming, river rafting, sand castles, barbecue, bikinis, slip ‘n’ slides, hiking, kayaking, baseball, bike riding, whale watching, beer.

Breezy winds are also likely, so if you’re headed to the beach, remember to pack your kite.
