Looky looky! Another formerly bland Old Town wall is undergoing a splashy, multicolored facelift Eureka’s citizenry is sure to cherish. 

 

The Opera Alley-facing wall of the dePaul Building at the corner of Second and G streets is the latest canvas under artistic attack thanks to the efforts of the Black Faun Art Project Group — the same coalition behind the online comment-generating Dan Kitchener mural on the Buhne Building across the street.

PREVIOUSLY:

This time ‘round the individual applying the hues goes by the moniker Mr. Jago, also a UK artist. A quick googling suggests Mr. Jago has applied his abstract designs on a mostly smaller scale, but he did recently complete a mural as part of the Powwow Hawaii Festival which you will judge below.

The Black Faun Gallery says Mr. Jago is scheduled to complete the mural this weekend should you want to schedule some future art-gawk time.
